India Wildlife Tours

Destinations : Delhi - Sultanpur – Jaipur – Ranthambore – Bharatpur – Agra – Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh - Kanha
Duration : 11 Nights / 12 Days

Day 01 - Delhi

Arrive Delhi. Pick up at airport by tour executive and transfer. Sightseeing in and around Delhi.

Day 02 - Sultanpur

Excursion at Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary in the suburbs of Delhi. Bird watching all day.

Days 03- 04 - Jaipur & Ranthambore

Morning drive to Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan, the famous land of kings. Transfer to hotel and lunch, followed by sightseeing of a host of medieval forts and palaces. Not to miss is the incredible 400-year-old Solar Observatory.
Next day, drive to Ranthambore, a marvellous wildlife sanctuary, where tigers roam in broad daylight, a gathering of birds adorns the sky and crocodiles crowd watering holes.

Day 05 - Bharatpur

If you are craving for exciting action in the lap of Nature, Bharatpur is the destination. A day at the biggest Bird Park in Asia, making friends with and tracking over 350 distinct species of birds, is an exhilarating experience. Other attractions include boat rides in the morning.

Day 06 - Fatehpur Sikri & Agra

Onward drive and brief halt in the capital of Badshah Akbar, the greatest Mogul emperor of India—Fatehpur Sikri. Later, drive to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal—the finest medieval mausoleum of the world. Night stay at Agra.

Day 07 - Khajuraho

By flight reach a 1000-year-old temple complex built by the son of the Moon God. Human sexual encounters and the female form have been depicted in magnificent dimensions on stone in the 22 temples that have survived the passage of time.

Days 08-09 - Bandhavgarh

237 km from Khajuraho by motorable road, in the heart of the Vindhya Mountains, a forest shelters pre-historic caves having cryptic inscriptions, the huge 14th century Bandhavgarh Fort, and the rare White Tiger species. Indeed, it is the Bandhavgarh National Park, well worth a visit.

Days 10-11 - Kanha

From Khajuraho, take a flight to Jabalpur. Transfer to hotel. Jeep drive 170km to Kanha National Park, spread over 940 sq. km. Since 1974, the sanctuary has been included in Project Tiger. The 12-horned antelope is the pride of Kanha. The thick forests along with the grasslands also foster four-horned antelopes—a very rare species—apart from the Indian bison, deer, blue-bulls, sloth bear, Indian wild dog, panther and the tiger. Over 200 species of birds can be found here.

Day 12 - Return Flight

Return to Nagpur in the morning for your connecting flight.
